2026. We have been providing investigative services in Thailand for more than 20 years. Private Investigator vs. Detective
We are not officials of any government. We are private investigators, performing this service commercially. In P.I., the P = Private, not Public.
Indeed, you will usually get far better quality from the private sector than you will from government employees in any country as regards investigating personal matters.
Likewise, a "detective" usually refers to somebody who detects law breaking activity. A detective is "a person, especially a police officer, whose occupation is to investigate and solve crimes".
We are not detectives. We are private investigators.
If you need a talented entity on the ground in Thailand, intimately familiar with the Thai language (especially written), the Thai culture and the various documentation systems here, then it would be difficult to find anyone better than us. Our core people are highly educated Thais, some of us well travelled, and maintain close relationships with certain well situated expat associates on call who practice the standard methods of private investigations.
We get information for ordinary private citizens and businesspeople.
We stay on the right side of the law in performing our investigations.
We also employ the best methods. Your friends, associates and other sources may not perform well enough on your behalf, because they do not have the skills, methods or perhaps the commitment. Professional agents are reliable and can be directed systematically in ways that sources cannot.
In any case, it is important to employ the right person for the job, not necessarily someone who just happens to be available.
Note that in various definitions of the word "investigate", emphasis on "systematic":
- American Heritage Dictionary: "[verb transitive:] To observe or inquire into in detail; examine systematically. [verb intransitive:] To make a detailed inquiry or systematic examination."
- Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary: "[verb:] To observe or study by close examination and systematic inquiry ~ [verb intransitive:] to make a systematic examination; esp: to conduct an official inquiry"
Professional investigators such as ourselves are skilled & experienced in the (1) sources and (2) methods of investigation. We also take on challenges and are creative in finding solutions.

This website is entirely self-made, not outsourced to any public relations or web design company. We wrote all the content, and did all the programming and artwork, too, ourselves. It's still early 2000s style and many people have commented on this now around 20 years later, but we prefer to do everything ourselves. (Some of the text content predates this domain name.)
